This was probably the most spontaneous solo date yet.
I was laying in bed scrolling on TikTok when one video caught my attention and just a few hours later, I found myself sitting in a beginner sewing class.
I didn’t expect much.
But what I got was something I didn’t even realize I needed: stillness.
No pressure. No rushing. Just me, learning something new and being fully present in the moment.
And maybe that’s the reminder: sometimes the best experiences come from a simple “why not?”
I didn’t want to go to Dave & Buster’s.
I was tired, running late, and honestly just wanted to stay home.
But I went anyway.
And somehow, one of the days I felt the most resistant turned into one of the most fun solo dates I’ve had so far.
That’s when it clicked: every time I show up for myself, even when I don’t feel like it, I enjoy it.
So maybe the real lesson isn’t about the date.
Maybe it’s about not standing yourself up.
